  • Early Childhood Center

Our Early Childhood Center provides an atmosphere of love, learning and play, which is greatly enhanced by our Jewish values.  Here is kindergarten in front of their menorah..

  • Building Community

Our IHC Fifth Graders experienced klezmer music -- and even danced a little, with our great IHC 65th Street Klezmorim. Great learning! Great music!

  • Welcoming Ways

We live the values and vision of Abraham and Sarah: our tent is open and we welcome all.  Sisterhood and Brotherhood showed our IHC and ECC staff our "amore" and appreciation for all they do for IHC by serving them lunch. It was so nice!

  • Lifelong Learning

Our youth find so many ways to learn and grow their Jewish identity from tots to teens through Torah.  Twenty three kindergarteners celebrated their Consecration Sunday and were blessed by a special tallit decorated with their handprints.

Our guest list included, Yocheved, Miriam, Deborah, Beruriah, Emma Lazarus, Golda Meir, and Bella Abzug.   Thank you, to our very talented Sisterhood members who so wonderfully portrayed each of these women.  Joanne Bates, Carly Turow, Stefani Schaffer , Carol Weiss, Patti Freeman Dorson, Amy Isaacs, and Andrea Pactor.  It was a very fun evening with wonderful food, hot cider, and wine.
