Early Childhood Center

The IHC Early Childhood Center (ECC) is committed to giving toddlers through kindergartners varied and rich opportunities for growth and development. We believe in providing an atmosphere of love, learning and play, which is greatly enhanced by our Jewish values. We also have a dedicated commitment to diversity among our ECC families and our staff.

ECC During COVID-19

We have reopened the ECC for the Fall Semester with reduced classroom sizes and shortened school days. Currently we are offering two sessions: 9a-12:30p and 9a-3p with drop off starting at 8:30a. Contact Angela Eubanks, ECC Assistant Director for more information.

Fundraising with ECC Shopping Cards

The Early Childhood Center provides an opportunity for all congregants to support the congregation at no cost to the family through the purchase of Shopping Cards (shop with scrip). These are the same gift certificates that you buy at the store and are available in various dollar amounts to a multitude of national and local retailers (including Marsh, Kroger, Target, Starbucks, AMC & Regal theatres, just to name a few…).

But how does purchasing gift cards thru the ECC help us raise money?
It’s simple — scrip participating retailers agree to sell gift certificates to our organization at a discount. Member families like yours buy the certificates for full face value, they redeem them for full face value, and our school keeps the difference as revenue. And scrip is exciting, because everybody wins:

• The retailer gets cash up front and repeat business…
• Our school gets a regular source of revenue.

The beauty of scrip is that you put your regular household shopping dollars to work. You earn money for our school without spending a single additional penny.

Going to Target after you drop off the kids?? Why not purchase a gift card and use that to pay instead!?

Late night? Need a Starbucks on your way to work? Why not use a gift card to pay for your morning Latte!

Also makes great Birthday and holiday gifts!!

Scrip can be used for just about any household purchase – just spend your regular shopping dollars with scrip at the stores that participate in the scrip program!

The ECC has cards on hand ready for purchase and orders are placed monthly! Gift cards are available for pick up in about a week once the order is placed. For more information contact the Early Childhood Office.
