As My Ancestors Planted For Me, So Do I Plant For My Children.
The Role of the IHC Foundation
CREATING YOUR LEGACY – ENSURING OUR FUTURE
The IHC Foundation exists exclusively for the benefit of Indianapolis Hebrew Congregation. The IHC Foundation provides operational and special project support on an annual basis and ensures a vibrant and strong future for IHC’s Reform Jewish community. The IHC Foundation fulfills its role by receiving, acquiring, holding, managing, administering, and expending property and funds for the benefit of IHC. The IHC Foundation is a separate 501(c)(3) tax-qualified organization that accepts contributions, including legacy gifts, bequests, and endowments, to strengthen and support IHC.
Creating Legacy Gifts
“Legacy. What is a legacy?
It’s planting seeds in a garden you never get to see.” (Hamilton, the Musical)
The IHC Foundation invites you to create your legacy now to ensure the future of IHC. We recognize and thank the members of the Legacy Society, those congregants and friends who have chosen to partner with IHC and the IHC Foundation, by making a gift from their estates.
Consider giving a cash gift, a gift of securities or naming the IHC Foundation in your will or trust or as a beneficiary of your retirement plan or life insurance policy. You will be making a profound impact on the future of IHC.
- A gift made by will or designation in a trust.
One sentence in your will or trust can ensure a Jewish home for future generations of congregants.
- A gift from a retirement plan, life insurance policy, or annuity.
Use a beneficiary designation form to make a gift of these assets.
