If Torah represents the best of our ideals and presents us with a roadmap to create a better world, then each of us must take on the responsibility of learning and teaching and celebrating and carrying that Torah. We carry the Torah when we give of our time and energy, but we also must carry the Torah financially. As the ancient rabbis understood – providing for our schools, staff and clergy, and supporting scholarships and programs and classes, even simply keeping the lights on in our beautiful building – all of this “bread” or physical sustenance is profoundly connected to “Torah.” We cannot have one without the other. This is why we have named our High Holy Day Appeal ‘Without Bread, There is No Torah’.
Please give generously.

This year, due to COVID-19, we have renamed our Appeal to the High Holy Day COVID-19 Fund
Our Annual High Holy Day Appeal is a necessary fundraising campaign, simply put because we are unable to secure enough money to do all that we need to to IHC through our member annual commitments. This year, we had already budgeted $70,000 as our goal. Then came COVID-19, causing us to set this year’s goal at $300,000. While it may sound daunting, we are confident that if we all do our part, we can meet that goal.
We’ve Reached Our First Milestone!
Let’s Celebrate Our Progress, Then Get Back To Work.
We Still Need to Raise $148,000 More.
If you have not yet contributed, we urge 100% participation, at any amount. It is going to take all of us to weather this year’s (and 2021’s) storm and we ask you to do your part!
