Household Items Needed

IHC’s Brit Olam Social Justice Team is a proud partner with Family Promise of Greater Indianapolis. Under normal times, we proudly host families at IHC four times a year. Obviously, with COVID-19, we are unable to host these families in need. We thank those of you who participated in Family Promise’s #ANightWithoutABed campaign to rent and furnish apartments to be used this year as emergency homeless shelters for families until they can find permanent housing.  They are using this new model while congregations are closed and can’t host families as usual in their Interfaith Hospitality Network program. Now there is another way for all of us at IHC to continue to help: we need to furnish these apartments with the necessary household items.

Can you support this effort by buying or donating a new or gently used household items and supplies  Our goal is to have all the items by June 15.  The sooner the better, though, because some units might be under lease as soon as May 22, if we can have the items ready!

Sunday, May 24 and Sunday May 31 from 10a-noon.
