Mitzvah Stitchers Reboot

As we prepare for the holy season ahead, it is time to take stock of our deeds. What better time to clear our homes as well as our souls.

The Mitzvah Stitchers have been working to make hats, scarves, and hand warmers for those in need. We haven’t met for almost six months and want to collect those items as well as give stitchers an opportunity to pick up yarn for more projects.

Here’s how we hope to accomplish those goals. On Wednesday, September 9, from 5 until 7 pm, Stitchers can drop off completed projects and/or pick out yarn in the South Parking Lot at IHC. For those who are just dropping off items, come by any time. If you want to get yarn, you will need to set a time with Cantor Janice Roger (janicer@ihcindy.org). Appointments will be in 10 minute increments and masks must be worn.

Also, because of traffic patterns, there will be RIGHT TURNS ONLY into the parking lot.

If you want to make a yarn donation, this is also the time we can accept it. Please make sure your yarn is acrylic or polyester.

Thanks to all of our IHC family who have made Mitzvah Stitchers possible.
