Life After Fifty – LAF – Invites you to join us for a timely and important series on Aging

The current pandemic situation has made many of us think about our future and our legacy. Our series on aging approaches concerns and angst with important information, camaraderie and a dose of humor. All sessions will be via zoom. Each topic is a “stand alone” – participate in one or all! The first event was hugely successful. Here are the next two coming up.

“The Kominsky Method” – A Fun and Honest Conversation on Tuesday, May 26, 1:00 pm

Through Sandy Kominsky (Michael Douglas), an aging actor, we’ll explore the themes of aging, family dynamics and the struggle with choices and relationships. Alan Arkin and Sarah Baker also star in this comedy. Our conversation, focusing on season 1 of the series, will be rich in content but also explore the humorous side of aging.

Writing an Ethical Will on Monday evening, June 15, 7:00 pm

An ethical will gives the writer an opportunity to share with their heirs their wealth of wisdom: lessons they’ve learned over a lifetime, where they found meaning in their lives, and what they want for their loved ones when they are gone. We’ll provide guidance in creating an ethical will rich in Jewish values and personal insights.

To pre-register, please contact Marcia Goldstein. Once registered, you will be sent the Zoom links.
