Sisterhood Fall General Membership Meeting
New Date: Thursday, October 28 at 7pm
New Location: From the comfort of your chair through Zoom
Our Sisterhood is required to hold two general membership meetings each year to conduct business. Because of a mix-up with the IHC Board Retreat, we have decided to hold this important meeting online.
So, we are making this easy for you: grab the beverage of your choice and join us through Zoom for our Fall Meeting.
We need your approval of our 2022 Budget. And it’s a chance to bring you up to date on all things Sisterhood, including important updates on Sisterhood projects.
Don’t miss this opportunity to connect with each other!
Use the registration form below to let us know you will be joining us by October 26. We will send you the Zoom link and a reminder before the event.
Please ask your friends to join us, we need a quorum to approve the 2022 budget.
Our Tikkun Olam Project for this event: Drive Through Collection for Food Bags
Sisterhood’s Social Action team is back at work, teaming up with the Jewish Learning Program to collect items so we can provide bags of food for children in need at Greenbriar Elementary School over Thanksgiving, Winter and Spring breaks.
While we are not meeting in person for this event, we ask you to drive-through our drop off any of the following items at IHC from 9:15am-12:00pm on Sunday, October 31 at the IHC North Entrance. If you do not have time to shop, financial contributions are always appreciated! You can include your donation on the registration form below. Even if you are not able to attend our virtual meeting, you can still contribute to our Food Bag Project.
Chicken Noodle soup (pop top cans) and Pudding Cups
Applesauce Cups and Hot Chocolate Packets
Individual 100% Fruit Juice Boxes and Oatmeal Packets
Macaroni and Cheese Boxes or Cups
Nutra Grain Bars
Canned Pasta (pop top cans)
Individual Serving Boxes of Dry Cereal
Food items with nuts, peanuts or peanut butter cannot be accepted. If you need more info or would like to help with this project, please contact our VP of Social Action, Bennie Silver.
This year, Greenbriar has an enrollment of 540 students. At least ¾ of the children qualify for free or reduced lunch. The school supports multiple students whose families are homeless and many more with unstable housing meaning that they stay with friends or extended family. Our goal is to do what we can to keep the children in school.
Thank you for making this important project possible!
