BYO Tu B’Shevat Seder For Women

Tuesday, January 26 @ 8pm

Reawakening Our Soul by Setting Intention

Tu B’Shevat is considered the birthday of the trees. Like trees, Sisterhood is all about strong roots, branching out and striving for continuous growth. While we are not able to join together physically, we will celebrate our individual and collective strength with a BYO Tu B’Shevat Seder.  You provide your own wine and fruits, we’ll provide the opportunity for us to stay connected and to set the right kavanah (intention) to release the divine sparks in the fruit, and bring our world (and ourselves) into greater harmony.
During the seder, we will have the opportunity to meet in smaller groups to get to know one another better and to share our intentions.

Here is what you will need for our BYO Seder*:

  • 4 Glasses of Wine or Juice: White, Pale Pink, Deep Pink and Red
  • Fruit with neither shells nor pits (grapes, figs, apples, pears, quince, strawberries or carob). It is recommended to include at least one fruit that you have never tried before.
  • Fruit with pits (olives, dates, cherries, jujubes, plums, apricots, hackberries or lotus fruit)
  • Fruit with a tough exterior (pomegranates, nuts, citrus, coconut, pine nuts, peanuts)

*If you prefer, you don’t need to have any of these on hand, you can just imbibe virtually!

In lieu of a program fee, please consider making your 2021 contribution to Sisterhood so we can continue to do all that we do at IHC and in our community.

Please register by January 20. The Zoom link will be emailed to you with a reminder of ‘Seder Supplies”.
