From Slavery to Redemption: A Journey to Freedom

IHC Sisterhood’s 2021 Women’s Seder Experience

Thursday, March 25 @ 8pm on Zoom

You work so hard to prepare your home, holiday table and family’s favorite foods for Passover. Now, take a break  and do something for yourself! Join us to help prepare your soul and to connect with each other!

This popular event brings women together to celebrate Passover from a woman’s point of view. This year’s event is virtual, which means you can invite your friends and family, near and far, to join us: Daughters & Granddaughters (12+), Mothers, Friends and Co-Workers, Jewish or Not. All are welcome and you can even register them when you register!

Ma Nishtana?

What makes this night different than all other nights? Obviously, besides holding our seder virtually, this year’s event is a different type of Sisterhood Women’s Seder (good news, it doesn’t involve setting a seder table). You won’t want to miss this special program filled with beautiful music, teachings and an opportunity to connect with each other in small groups through Zoom breakout rooms.

Please scroll down to complete your registration form. Once registered, you will receive the Zoom link for the event. You’ll also receive a reminder email.

While this is an online event, we still have expenses, so please consider making a contribution for each person you register.
May we suggest these giving levels:

Miriam’s Song: $72
Miriam’s Well $54
Miriam’s Timbrel: $36
Miriam’s Cup: $18

We would not want to let your financial situation to keep you from joining us, just make a gift you are comfortable with giving!

Passover Basket Project: Turn Matzah Into A Mitzvah!

Every year, at Passover, we affirm our obligation to care for another while proclaiming the words,”Let all who are hungry come eat.”  Sisterhood has a tradition of including a mitzvah project for most of our events. This year, the need is greater than ever and we are trying something new.  In lieu of donating food items, we ask you to consider assembling a Passover Basket (to include a grocery gift card). You can fill the basket by yourself or with friends.  Email our VP of Social Action, Bennie Silver  or call her at 317.292.7068 to sign up. She’ll send you the specific grocery list and instructions.

Sorry, Registration for the Women’s Seder has ended.

For any questions, please contact our VP of Membership, Sonja Kantor at 317.496.6022.
